Covid-19: outdoor classes

Following the closure of our training halls due to health measures, classes continue to be held at Parc de la Villette.
- Location: Hall 4, La Villette.
- Tuesday and Friday schedule: 10 AM to 1 PM
- Sunday schedule: 10 AM to 12 PM

Groups of 10 people maximum. Health measures enforced.
Remember to dress for cold and wet weather!

Systema classes will resume on Friday, September 4 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Salle d'Armes Cadet gymnasium.
We are awaiting guidelines regarding COVID: for the time being, masks are mandatory when moving around inside the gymnasium; they may be removed for practice.

Pierre Berçot offers three "à la carte" workshop formats, to deepen your knowledge and practice of Systema. You may attend one or several days, with no prerequisites required. Each day focuses on a specific topic, allowing the practitioner to broaden their skill set and understanding of the Russian martial art.

Kadochnikov Systema advanced training with Evgueny Matkowsky
This seminar offers an individual and personalized approach with analysis and appropriate technical advice for each participant. Work will take place both indoors and outdoors. The program includes:
- Applied biomechanics and gymnastics (with and without equipment): ground mobility, low acrobatics, falls.
- Defense against: grabs, kicks/punches, stick attacks, knife attacks, improvised tools and weapons.
The instructor
Evgueny Matkovsky is the official instructor and representative of "Systema Kadochnikov" in France and Europe. He trained in the military under the founder Alexei Kadochnikov. At the time, this style was classified as a military secret. He personally witnessed its effectiveness during his missions in Afghanistan. His extensive experience and availability make his teaching accessible and adaptable to practitioners from all backgrounds.
Special conditions
Prerequisites: At least 2 years of regular Kadochnikov Systema practice; minimum age 16. The number of places is limited to 40 participants.

This "à la carte" workshop is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of Systema. You may attend one or several days, with no prerequisites required. Each half-day focuses on a specific topic, allowing the practitioner to broaden their skill set and understanding of the Russian martial art.
Less than an hour from Paris by public transport, the town of Thomery offers a friendly setting in a privileged environment. Work will take place in the gymnasium and in the Fontainebleau Forest.
The curriculum includes:
- Breathing
- Movement and perception
- Ground mobility and low acrobatics
- Biomechanics (weight, levers, destructions)
- Grabs and strikes
- Postural work (structure, stretching, massage)
- Weapons and other pedagogical tools

- Day 1: Ground work, wrestling fundamentals and close-combat application
- Day 2: Defense against grabs

- Day 4: Forest movement / shovel

Systema in Fontainebleau Forest

Outdoor training is an essential step for any practitioner whose practice is rooted in freedom, adaptability and knowledge.
These workshops are especially designed for those who wish to deepen their knowledge of Systema and for all movement arts practitioners in general. Training in the forest helps improve adaptability, discover other methods of applying movement, refine sensory perception and strengthen combat skills.
