Our Style
Kadochnikov Systema, or more commonly known as the "Kadochnikov system," is used by certain Russian special forces units. During the Soviet era, its teaching and use were restricted solely to certain elite forces divisions, such as the Spetsnaz. Since the dissolution of the USSR, its practice has been made available to the general public.
Despite the variety of Systema schools in the world, the Kadochnikov system is one of the largest and most prestigious.
Its founder, A.A. Kadochnikov — a former combat diver officer — has been working since the 1960s on perfecting what was passed down to him by his masters. His teaching is based on knowledge of human anatomy, the laws of mechanics, principles of stability, balance, and other natural laws.
Kadochnikov Systema is designed to enable its practitioners to engage in hand-to-hand combat even when the balance of force is highly unequal. By applying its methods, exhausted or injured individuals, teenagers, and women are able to defend themselves against adult men. By using the strength and energy of the attackers, Systema practitioners expend their own to a minimum.
In addition to hand-to-hand combat, the Kadochnikov school teaches wilderness survival, map reading and orientation, obstacle crossing, military service preparation, and more.
